Coolhorses breeding excellent at the BWP presentation days of young dressage horses!
Past Sunday was the presentation day of BWP for young talented dressage horses from 1 till 4 years old. This event is organized yearly by the BWP studbook. On Saturday there are young jumping horses showing the best they can and on Sunday it's for dressage horses to show their talent. A weekend full with young force!
For Coolhorses breeding it became a successfull weekend! Isabel went with 6 horses to Hulsterlo, the stable where the BWP presentation days took place. Managing all that young stock is not that simple, but luckily we have a terrific team with Laura Smet and Daisy Timbermont who can handle all our young talented horses.
With the 2 year old mares victory went to Coolhorses Joy, an offspring of our own breeding mare Wencis (Radar x Kennedy) and sire Everdale. She received a total score of 82,2%, with 8 for the walk, 8.2 for trot, 8.3 for canter, 8 for balance and 8.6 for exterior. Wencis already has a well known horse in the dressage sport, Brencis, with whom Isabel rides small tour level and is being trained up to the GP level. Coolhorses Jewel (Charmeur x De Niro) also participated with the 2 year old mares, but was too impressed by the arena wherefor she didn't dare to canter and got 0 on that part. Unfortunately... because the other scores she got were super: 8 for walk, 8 for trot, 7.8 for balance and 8 for exterior.
With the 3 year old mares Coolhorses ruled in the top 2! Coolhorses Insomnia won with 85,5% (walk 8.3, trot 9, canter 8.3, balance 8.5 and exterior 8.6) and Imagine was 2nd with 83,8% (walk 8.2, trot 8.5, canter 8.2, balance 8.5 and exterior 8.5). Insomnia's mother is our breeding mare De Nira (De Niro) and father is Metall (Ferro). Imagine's mother is our breeding mare Vanity (Jazz) and father United.
With the 4 year oid horses Laura Smet participated with Coolhorses Halegra (Krack C x Jazz) and showed a really nice test. A total score of 69,5% and an 11th place.
Last but not least was our beautiful stallion No Limit (Jack Sparrow x Pavarotti vd Helle) who conquered many hearts.He became 2nd with 86,4% (only 0,2% less then the winner) and nice scores: 7.8 for walk, 9 for trot, 8.4 for canter, 8.8 for balance and 9.2 for exterior! No Limit is trained by Tom Franckx for the moment and he will compete him next year in the 4 year old division. Afterwards Isabel shall train him again and bring him out at shows. This nice coorperation between this 2 good friends and dressage stables is 1 of a kind and we are really greatfull for it!
A successfull day for Coolhorses breeding and a lot of young talent for the future in dressage sport!
